All good things come to an end

This new one of Nelly Furtado….is one of ma fav at this moment
Dogs were whistling a new tune
Barking at the new moon
Hoping it would come soon so that they could die

Honestly what will become of me
I don’t like reality
It’s way too clear to me
But really life is daily
We are what we don’t see
We missed everything daydreaming

Flames to dust
Lovers to friends
Why do all good things come to an end

Travelling I always stop at exits
Wondering if I’ll stay
Young and restless

Living this way I stress less
I want to pull away when the dream dies
The pain sets it and I don’t cry
I only feel gravity and I wonder why

And the sun was wondering if it should stay away for a day until the feeling went away
And the clouds were dropping and the…
The rain forgot how to bring salvation
The dogs were whistling a new tune barking at the new moon
Hoping it would come soon so that they could die

to all my space friends

MERRY CHRISTMAS SWEETI!! Thanks a ton for the prompt reply and so very sorry to have addressed you wrongly (as Sonia!)…maybe I’m thinking of too many friends at the same time! Silly me! Hope you didn’t mind. Nelly Furtado’s lyrics here speak the truth: all good things do come to an end!Bye for now. Enjoy!!  Love, Ruma.

    Hello Sweeti,
OK! I won’t eat my hats:) Once in a while I have to throw in a joke or two or three. Yesterday was one of those days where I was tryinng to get out of my funk. My youngest daughter has a preliminary diagnosis of ovarian cancer. She will be seeing an OB/GYN specialist on 3 JAN 2007. Meanwhile, life goes on as well as it can. God will handle it.
Your post is quite intriguing. There are so many possible interpretations, I don’t know where to begin. It seems to be more about endings but when looking closely for every ending it is a new beginning. It also has a sense of looking for something to fulfill a life or being unhappy with one’s own life and looking for a change. Enuff interpreting.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! to You & Yours.
    Peace, Love, & Blessings.
