Ur eyes  know  how to look at me
Even ur lips know how to kiss me
when im sleeping or when im awake
Ur hands know how to touch me ………….
I see ur face  when im dreaming
i see a glimpse of heaven in ur eyes
feels like im going insane
This is the way u make me feel
Am i fragile or am i strong
ur love is like food for my soul
ur there to kiss my pain away
u manage to touch me
 right trough my heart
But times are changing
I open my eyes
the feeling is still there
Im not sure
Is this the truth???

Lovely post. But why arent you sure? The feeling was there when your eyes were closed, and the feeling is still there when you open your eyes, how sure do you need to be before calling it the truth?
If you read much about Buddhist teachings, one of the key learnings is that nothing is permanent. All phenomenon eventually vanish. In the world of form, there is no permanence, even what we believe to be true in the world of form, changes when conditions change, and vanishes when conditions do not support its existence.
This is only my personal opinion. It is less important to determine what is truth than it is to live in the moment, to live in bliss. Therefore, "truth" in the world of form is a relative phenomenon, and in my opinion, it is wiser to live in the moment of what is virtuous, to live in bliss, than to examine, determine, or seek what is truth if we fail to cherish the moment.
The truth of one moment may become the lie of another, so cherish the moment when it is the truth, there is no permanence.
Truth in the spiritual world is a different matter.
May you find joy in living the moment.

Your comment in my space, about the words coming out of your hand, reminded me of an ancient wisdom that has profound meaning… its the words of a wise old tent-maker by the name of Omar al-Khayyami, who wrote this nearly 1,000 years ago…
“The moving finger writes; and having writ,  Moves on: nor all thy piety nor wit  Shall lure it back to cancel half a line,  Nor all thy tears wash out a word of it.”                                    (Omar al-Khayyami, 1048 – 1131)
Life and living is about learning and growing, so long as you know you are learning, you are growing. Be mindful and be awaken to the sounds of the world, blessed by an active mind and compassionate heart, you will find your bliss and live it.
Be well and be blessed Marijke. Never stop learning. Keep writing.
And dont forget to SMILE! 🙂

You should write more poetry…at least you know how you feel. I’m still trying to figure out what it feels like to keep on studying and learning and hope all of it comes useful when I’m on the job 🙂 Besides classes n studies, it’s just the usual hangouts like malls and bookstores…and otherwise roam around the city with friends during the weekend. Will try to cook something up for the detectives…and will let you know first 🙂

    Hi Sweetie
Thanks for your commnts on my last post! First of all, nice poem on your page. But how is your friend’s brother doing? Hope he is recovering from the accident.
You asked what was on my mind abt returning to India? Well, I keep thinking abt India. Not sure abt going back – or rather when. I think more than the country/place, I miss my mom. It wld be wonderful if we were closer – easier to pop over fr short breaks!
You take care and keep posting nice ones.
    Bye for now!M

  13. Billy says:

Yes, Marijke, your friend at work is indeed a true friend, who is selfless and willing to share all. You know, living in bliss is about living in abundance and I do not mean abundance of material wealth, I mean an abundance of non-material wealth such as knowledge, wisdom, work, friendship, smiles, caring, nature, art… all the things that bring love, peace and joy into our lives.
The universe has an infinite capacity to deliver love, peace and joy into our lives once we recognize that and share it with each other abundantly, life is beautiful! When people become selfish and start comparing, competing, and becoming conceipted, life is ugly for them.
When you live in abundance, doors never cease to open for you.
So, here’s wishing your life is filled with abundance, be well and be blessed.

  14. Ruma says:

I hope your friend Many and Gurpy are well and have recovered from the shock of the accident they went through. It is indeed a blessing to be still alive and normal!Bye, and keep well! Love, Ruma.
