A Cross of wood

 A cross of wood

Tis the carpenters son on a cross of wood
To slay him the soldiers in hood
tis day in calvary stood
blood of lamb shed for good

Tis the  King born in a manger
Yet to none a stranger
time he cried for water
yet to get bitter vinegar

Tis the son of Almighty in heaven
Times in the cross he cried seven
For his dues he made even
A Prayer for his foes to be forgiven

Tis the son of God crowned with thorn
just For us in sins torn
For tis the pupose he was born
Darkness to end in a joyous morn

Christ on the cross Color Illustrator Ver. 5 ' He died for us ' In three days He'll rise again photo

Hi Sweeti!        What an incredibly touching poem on Easter! Mankind must keep reminding himself about the great sacrifice that Christ did to cleanse the earth of sins. May the spirit of Easter bring peace and joy to you and everyone who is near and dear to you.         Thanks so much for your comments….it is true that we get carried away by seeing/hearing of wealth owned or possessed by others. What we fail to see is the tremendous sacrifice in order to procure all that wealth. Often this sacrifice is just not worth staying away from your family and loved ones. Money can never buy happiness.        Have a wonderful Easter! Thanks for the Holi wishes!Love, Ruma.
