Butterfly

To die on the water with ur wings of paper
Just float, after flying in the clouds,
float with ur colours which blur
without search without questions
At last…for always rest
The flowers u kissed
The fragrance u have smelled
U can forget everything now
On the water u fly back and forth
This way to die with ur wings of paper
Rood hartRood hartRood hartRood hart
to live u should be a butterfly
always free  away from the hurt
I can live without flying
cos the  butterfly  died in me

How sad, this speaks to me of a loss of innocence. I remember the days before counting the cost seems to take up so much thought. Perhaps the loss of the butterly happens to us all at one point or another but if we can remember there’s still beauty to be seen we can still fly.

SweetiYour Poem Does Add A Touch Of Unhappiness -And So With This Thought In Mind – I Offer You This -In The sweetness Of Life There Is A Beginning Without An End, Everlasting Tender Thoughts Encompassing, Reminiscence Of Days Gone By, Likened To Scented Petals Falling From A Rose, A Birdsong Resounding In The Gentle Breeze And Yet The Strands Of Immortality Are Unbounded. An Existence That Captures These Inner Beauties Of Life In Its Essence Never Dies My Good Friend It Simply Lives Through All Eternity With The Fine Knowledge Of An unchanging Age Of Continuation – As With A Butterfly With Wings Of Paper – As With All Things That Is Time Itself, Life Is Indeed Forever. Be Well Sweeti.Androgoth XXx

On a lighter note… they are like flying rainbows. I look forward to that time of the year when they visit us.

The butterfly life span is short but they don’t seem to mind as they go about their business, enjoying all that is and taking the time to smell the flowers as you mentioned. They don’t seem to worry about tomorrow. They come in different sizes and colors and yet I have yet to see two butterflies stop to argue, instead they choose to embrace each other… just as they embrace life. Maybe we should allow the butterfly to teach us to live as they live… savoring all the nectars of life each and everyday.

To sip and taste of life like a Butterfly, who can see one and not wonder at it’s beauty and fragility. So we all are, fragile. easily hurt and broken, but we recover, we have time, the butterfly does not. It lives such a short life. but it leaves a powerful mark. Lovely, lovely poem. Sweeti. Ladypx

Try coming Nov thru Feb…so it’s not too hot 🙂 During that time, it rains in Tamilnadu. Especially during the rains, we have this fantastic event in Chennai – http://www.bing.com/search?q=chennai+music+festival+season&form=QBRE&qs=n&sk=

Their brilliant colors and intricate patterns make them look hand painted. Any butterfly lover should schedule a trip to a butterfly exhibit. Aside from being beautiful, it is actually a relaxing experience. Most of the time they will land on you, but if they don’t you can have your hand sprayed with sugar water. They’ll rest in the palm of your hand. :o)

Politics sure unites this world.. the voters versus the ruling party is the game all across the place 🙂 It was definitely less crowded in the streets, and the Chennai team won.
