Morocco.

The flight from Brussels to Marrakech was one with a lot of turbulence. The flight took 3 and a half hr.  I was not feeling well. I never have this in the Long distance flights with the 767 types. These charter planes ( 737) are given me the shivers. But i was thinking be strong  its over in short time.  When i fell the ground of Marrakech i was so relieved.

So here we go. Next day after breakfast we visited the historical city Marrakech we came to stand eye to eye with the symbol of the city, the Koutoubia mosque. Its a jewel of the spanish moor art. She has a 70 meter hight minaret.

We visited also the Bahia palace with the fantastic ceder wooden cupolas. Artists made this fantastic piece of art.

The shadow of the olive trees in the garden of Agdal is more then welcome. Its hot and i mean hot. We left Belgium with around 15 C or so. The difference is a bit to much. But we get used to it after some days.

We visit then the Djemaa El Fna place Its the heart of Marrakech a labyrinth of narrow streets. So beautiful. Our guide Abdul explains. We walk  left  right  and dont know where we are then a door opens. Behind this brown door is a jewel i Never saw such beauty.

Its normal Abdul says : in former days Morrocan ppl did not show their wealth. After lunch we went to the Djemaa El Fna place  and enjoyed the salesmen.

We asked Abdul what these coloured items were. He said this is soap..Oke We belief hat.

But the owner of this lil doggy

said to me   This is material to paint clothes.

Oepsie  Abdul….
Will be continued.

      • Click on the W/P symbol in the top Left corner of your screen on the grey bar and click on “Reader” in the drop-down menu 🙂 Or find it in the dashboard menus 🙂 Email updates unnecessary then. I never use them.

    • Your W/Press Reader shows you all the new blog posts without you needing to get email updates Androgoth. So no need to miss any!

      • Androgoth says:
