Watch me Without hands.

Always and everywhere we see people under the spell of their smartphone. Instead of looking around us, we are engrossed in our own little world.

In the bus, In restaurant even in the car.

Watching  ur screen constantly  is very dangerous while you walk, cycle or drive.  ( one of the three accidents with pedestrians, happens  cos the pedestrian was busy with his mobile.

Or riding bicycle without hands on the handlebars using the smartphone.

I have already written previously about this behaviour on a blog  and still it annoys me that people on restaurant and even in conversations have  the urge to see if they have  a FB message or twitter or whatever. The modern technique is seen as a status symbol these days.

Even  some are  thinking that with a headset in the ears while riding a bicycle  im very important. This is not ….as it looks even stupid.

And also important …. your privacy. And show respect for others.

This is shocking and it’s the way things are today..My Goodness how times have changed ..It’s a shame ,we just have to keep our eyes and ears open for them to.
Do hope you are having a lovely weekend.

They’ve enacted seatbelt laws yet some still go without seatbelts, they’ve enacted anti-cellphone in the car laws yet now people get in more wrecks because they try to hide the cellphone they are using in the car…guess you really can’t legislate morality nor replace doing the right thing with a stack of rules.

This is so true, Sweetie. We are all culprits or victims of this modern day technology. When we indulge in using the phone at the wrong time, we only invite trouble. I wish people were more aware while using these “conveniences” which are only becoming inconveniences and infringing on privacy.

  4. It is very addictive though! I do resent people using them whilst driving – as a pedestrian I not only have to think for myself but also for them too! And as to using one whilst riding a bike…I have seen that happen and it is one of the most stupid and irresponsible scenes!

Yeah hun, we have similar problems here in the UK where it is against the law to use your mobile while driving!

Every time I phone Pat I have to ask if she’s driving because she answers her phone no matter WHAT she’s doing! 😦

Round here we see women nattering on their phones constantly and the Asian taxi drivers are well known for chatting with their families in Pakistan by mobile phone while driving!

I have an old phone which gets laughed at by the kids, but it can’t be hacked and still does what I need it to do! 🙂

    Love and hugs!

  6. It is amazing how many young mums I see using phones whilst taking children to school with car full of young children… It makes me cross… And there is never a policeman around to witness these things….

  7. It is life in a “modern” world. In a free society each decides right and wrong.
I did not say it is right.
