The grasshopper and our cat.

Daily we get new neighbours. I like you to meet this green one.

Its not the Hulk and its not one of the Zurich grasshoppers, but a beautiful creation of God. And most important our Cat Chica was very kind and did not harm him.

so its still moving around in our garden.

we don’t get grasshoppers that big here in the UK! 🙂

Nice to see your cat didn’t kill it on sight though!!! 🙂

    Love and hugs!

  2. How delightful! Your cat must see this as something of an amusement.
    love, Eddie

We recently had a Praying Mantis visit us. I love such things!

  5. It’s a lot more appealing than our recent visitors/invaders! I am walking around with large cans of insecticidal spray these days in a state of constant paranoia! Brown, blood sucking vampire bugs don’t have the same sociable effects your lovely little grasshopper creates!

Hi Wolfy had to check ur sucking vampire bugs.
      I quote

Their name may not sound very scary, but “kissing bugs” can be even worse than bedbugs

      so be carefull oke
      Huggy and good weekend

  9. Oh My.. these are lovely photo’s.. I love that Cats just so enjoy anything small that moves.. I will never forget when we had our Cat who was curled all settled in the hearth as a huge spider came across the carpet.. She jumped on all fours about 2 feet in the air.. .. Yet she would catch mice and bring them home leaving them as presents so pleased with her prize.. I can just imagine your cat Chica so absorbed and curious not to harm him.. 🙂
